Cubism Reflection

1) How did you determine what subject to use for this project?
When deciding what object I wanted to photograph, I kept in mind that I wanted
the finished product to still look like the actual object. I originally wanted to do a
palm tree, but decided that it wouldn't work for what I wanted to do with the
project. I also wanted something that had nice colors in it.
2) How many photographs did you take for this project?
I took 33 photos
3) What challenges did you encounter when doing this project?
When originally doing this project, I did it on photoshop on my laptop. The
application on my laptop ran very slow and it made it hard for me to focus on the
overall outcome because I was getting frustrated with how slow it was going.
Another challenge was that no matter what I did the various photos (placement,
size, etc.), I did not like the outcome. The project somewhat frustrated me a lot.
I was not a fan of the final photo I got, but it seemed like I couldn't find a way to
do it to where I actually was satisfied with it.
4) Given the opportunity to do this project over, what would you do differently the
2nd time around?
I think for the 2nd time around I would choose a different object and go about it a
different way. I think I would take a lot more photos, and when placing them
together I think I would go more making it abstract rather than placing the photos
to where it still looked like the shape of the object.
